
Elon Musk – Tesla – Cybertruck – Love it or hate it?

Did you know that in late 2019, Tesla has revealed the new Cybertruck which is supposed to enter production this year? According to Statista (2020), as of June 2020, the new Tesla Cybertruck had 650,000 pre-orders. If you are wondering what is so special about the Cybertrack please see the picture below. The price for the basic Cybertruck is only $39,000 and is still available for pre-order for only $100 which is fully refundable. Why so cheap comparing to all other Tesla models’ prices?

The exoskeleton of Tesla Cybertruk it’s made of stainless steel which not only provides passenger protection but also increases the ultimate durability. It has been designed for superior strength and endurance from Ultra-Hard 30x Cold-Rolled steel skin to Tesla armour glass. the Ultra-Hard 30x Cold-rolled stainless steel helps to eliminate damage, dents, and long-term corrosion and puts the shell on the outside of the car. Furthermore, the ultra-strong glass and polymer-layered composite improve the performance and damage tolerance as it can absorb and redirect impact forces. The new Tesla Cybertruck has not only a unique design but is also very comfortable. It has six comfortable seats and has additional storage which is based under the second-row seats. Moreover, it includes a 100 cubic feet lockable storage which has a very strong tonneau cover, and an advanced 17″ touchscreen which has the new customised user interface.
You may be wondering what else Elon Musk has hidden in the Tesla Cybertruck so let’s look at the strength, speed, and versatility. According to Tesla the single motor RWD is able to speed from 0-60 MPH in less than 6.5 seconds and with the battery, it has you will be able to cover a range of over 250 Miles (EPA Estimate). It has rear-wheel drive, 100 cubic feet storage, and over 7,500 LBS of towing capacity. The ground clearance is up to 16″, the approach angle is 35 degrees and the departure is 28. It has standard autopilot and adaptive air suspensions. If you are interested in finding out what is the vault length it is 6.5 feet. According to Tesla, all configurations are US specification only.
The new Tesla Cybertruck is also available as a dual-motor AWD and Tri motor AWD. For example, the dual-motor AWD can speed from 0-60 MPH in less than 4.5 seconds whereas the tri-motor AWD is capable to do the same, but in 2.9 seconds. With the dual-motor AWD, the range is 300+ miles and has a DUAL MOTOR ALL-WHEEL DRIVE drivetrain. However, the tri-motor AWD has a TRI MOTOR ALL-WHEEL DRIVE drivetrain and can cover a range of 500+ miles.
